چکیده

Radiative corrections to the decay rate of charged fermions caused by the presence of a thermal bath of photons are calculated in the limit when temperatures are below the masses of all charged particles involved. The cancellation of finite-temperature infrared divergences in the decay rate is described in detail. Temperature-dependent radiative corrections to a two-body decay of a hypothetical charged fermion and to electroweak decays of a muon ! e e are given. We touch upon possible implications of these results for charged particles in the early Universe.

OPTIMAL DESIGN OF ARCH DAMS FOR FREQUENCY LIMITATIONS USING CHARGED SYSTEM SEARCH AND PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMIZATION

In recent years, the importance of economical considerations in the field of dam engineering has motivated many researchers to propose new methods for minimizing the cost of dames and in particular arch dams. This paper presents a method for shape optimization of double curvature arch dams corresponding to minimum construction cost while satisfying different constraints such as natural frequenc...

Factorization of number into prime numbers viewed as decay of particle into elementary particles conserving energy

Number theory is considered, by proposing quantum mechanical models and string-like models at zero and finite temperatures, where the factorization of number into prime numbers is viewed as the decay of particle into elementary particles conserving energy. In these models, energy of a particle labeled by an integer n is assumed or derived to being proportional to lnn. The one-loop vacuum amplit...

Modelling the catalyst fragmentation pattern in relation to molecular properties and particle overheating in olefin polymerization

A two-dimensional single particle finite element model was used to examine the effects of particle fragmental pattern on the average molecular weights, polymerization rate and particle overheating in heterogeneous Ziegler-Natta olefin polymerization. A two-site catalyst kinetic mechanism was employed together with a dynamic two-dimensional molecular species in diffusion-reaction equation. The i...

Holographic Model at Finite Temperature with R-charge density

We consider a holographic model of QCD at finite temperature with nonzero chemical potentials conjugate to R-charge densities. A critical surface of the confinement-deconfinement phase transition is shown for five-dimensional charged black hole solution given by Behrnd, Cvetič and Sabra. On a special section of the parameter space, we find an critical curve being similar to the one expected in ...

Dynamics of emergent Cooper pairing at finite temperatures

We study the time evolution of a system of fermions with pairing interactions at a finite temperature. The dynamics is triggered by an abrupt increase in the BCS coupling constant. We show that if initially the fermions are in a normal phase, the amplitude of the BCS order parameter averaged over the Boltzmann distribution of initial states exhibits damped oscillations with a relatively short d...
